The MACC basketball teams started Region 16 play with a home sweep over Three Rivers: the Lady Hounds won 90-74 and the men won 128-93. The Lady Hounds erased a ten-point deficit.

The Lady Hounds are now 15-3, and 1-0 in Region 16. Three Rivers is 13-5, and 1-1 in the region.

For the men, Dezi Jones led all scorers with 29 points in the blowout win.

Dusan Mahorcic  added 22 as six Greyhounds scored in double digits. Coach Pat Smith said his team shared the ball well.

The Greyhounds are 16-4, and 1-0 in Region 16. The Raiders fall to 10-8, and 0-2. Both Moberly teams are at State Fair Wednesday night.
