MACC Lady Hounds Lose Heartbreaker to Unbeaten Johnson County

Jazzy Klinge’s basket with 3.8 seconds left gave Johnson County a 58-56 win at Moberly Saturday afternoon. Following a turnover, the Lady Cavaliers had the ball down one.

The Lady Cavs had an 18-nothing run in the second quarter to go up by ten, before Moberly cut it back to a three point margin at halftime. Moberly finally reclaimed the lead in the fourth quarter.

Moberly falls to 8-4, and will host Highland of Kansas next Saturday afternoon at 1 at CCCB. Johnson County, ranked second in Division Two, is now 14-0.
