MACC Continues Early College Program in Columbia

The Moberly Area Community College Board of Trustees this week voted to officially continue the Early College Program with the Columbia Public Schools. President Dr. Jeff Lashley says juniors in the district can apply to be in the program.
The school district pays for the program, saving the students money. Lashley says the college has had preliminary discussions with other school districts about possibly expanding the program.
The program has had about 150 Columbia students both last school year and this one.
