Lady Hounds coach Hana Haden says it’s been difficult for the organization to navigate the pandemic, and the previous plan to take a break from Thanksgiving to January wasn’t ideal.

Teams will only get 22 games instead of the usual 30. Smith plans to start working on adjusting the schedule right away.

The teams will get 60 calendar days to practice in the first semester, and up to five scrimmages. Haden says the first semester will be a big change.

Smith has started to think how the fall will go.

Smith expects the NCAA will go to the same schedule. The regular season would end March 27th, and the national tournaments would begin April 19th.
