MACC Board Examines Several Programs

The MACC Board of Trustees did their regular reviews of the Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, and Agriculture Technology Programs Monday night. President Dr. Jeff Lashley says these reviews happen every three to four years for each program, and things are going well for Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics.

However, the college is having a hard time attracting students to the Ag Tech program, which is now in its fourth year.

Lashley says it is a quality program, but it’s a challenge drawing students from other parts of the state who may continue to work on their family farm.
