MACC Announces 2024 Greyhounds Hall of Fame Class

Three individuals, and the first Moberly Lady Greyhounds basketball team, will be inducted into the Greyhounds Hall of Fame February 3rd. Gary Steffes, Brennen Hughes, Kenny Seifert, and the 1977-78 Lady Hounds will be recognized at a luncheon at 11, and the Booster Club will hold a reception at 4 prior to that night’s doubleheader against Three Rivers.

Seifert was the head basketball coach of the Moberly Greyhounds for six seasons, from 1995 to 2001. Hughes played for the Hounds from 2011 to 2013 before going to Central Missouri. Steffes was the college’s Vice President of Finance until retiring in 2017.

The weekend will also be MACC’s Homecoming. Susanna Freeman is the Director of Institutional Development & Alumni Services. She says it’s been several years since the college has had a homecoming, with this building on last year’s Alumni Night.
