MACC Adding More Dorms For New Sports

With Moberly Area Community College adding baseball and softball next school year, the college will be renovating the former bookstore to serve as a new dorm. President Dr. Jeff Lashley says the building has been vacant since the bookstore moved into the main building about two years ago.

Lashley says the work will be a two-step process.

The Board of Trustees Monday approved hiring Klingner and Associates for architectural and engineering services for the renovation.
