Officers with the North Missouri Drug Task Force assisted the Moberly Police Department, Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, Macon Police Department, the Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Chariton County Sheriff’s Department, and the Salisbury Police Department in executing numerous arrest warrants in the area. The warrants stemmed from an eight-month long investigation which resulted in charges against numerous defendants. The round-up featured eleven warrants being served with two defendants already in custody at the Randolph County Justice Center. There were two consent searches and one search warrant resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia. A search warrant was also executed in the 300 Block of North Landrum St. Cairo. Officers seized Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, Drug Paraphernalia. Charges are pending as a result of the search warrant. Many of the cases against those arrested involved the sale of methamphetamine. The investigation also resulted in several individuals who weren’t located, but are currently being sought by law enforcement.

Thomas Lewis – for Class D Felony for Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid and Class E Felony for Keeping or Maintaining A public Nuisance – $10,000 cash only bond

La’Deja Gaines – for 1 count of Class E Felony Delivery of 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid – $10,000 c/s bond
