Local Hunters Reminded to Make Sure Deer Stands Are in Good Condition

Missouri’s archery deer season gets underway on September 15th. Knox County Conservation Agent Dustin Snead says this is a good time to check equipment and one of the most important things is your deer stand.

Treestands can also be set up on Missouri Conservation Areas. Snead says there are some rules to follow.

Hunters can begin setting up treestands on Missouri Conservation Areas this Friday. They must be removed by January 31st.
