Local House Budget Committee Member Tim Taylor Discusses Budget Passage

The Missouri House of Representatives recently gave approval to a 46-billion dollar budget proposal for the upcoming fiscal year. One of the big items left off was funding for expanding I-70 to six lanes. Representative Tim Taylor of Bunceton says that funding will be addressed further by the budget committee.

Taylor explains what all is featured in that budget bill.

This is Taylor’s first year on the budget committee. Another item was 100 million dollars being moved away from education.

The budget bill moves to the Missouri Senate.
