Local COVID-19 Numbers Increasing

The Randolph County Health Department is reporting 38 new cases of COVID-19 over the course of the weekend. An additional 23 cases have been released from isolation over the same time period. This brings the total number of active cases in Randolph County to 325. A total of 12 of the new cases are associated with outbreaks at multiple congregate living facilities. There are currently 14 COVID cases from Randolph County that are hospitalized.

The Macon County Health Department is reporting a total of 67 new cases since its last update on Thursday. This brings the total number of active cases in the county to 113. A total of four active cases are currently hospitalized.

Chariton County has more than 100 active cases of COVID-19. The latest report from the Chariton County Health Department shows 29 new cases with eight other cases being released from isolation. This brings the number of active cases in the county to 118.

Adair County reports 39 new cases and has now surpassed 800 total cases. 167 cases are active.
