Local Conservation Agent Reminds Missourians to be Responsible on Conservation Areas

Missouri conservation areas are open to the public this holiday weekend for a variety of activities. Monroe County Conservation Agent Jessica Filla says those activities cannot involve fireworks.

Filla adds there are a couple other rules and regulations to keep in mind when visiting these areas.

Area conservation areas that are open for the 4th of July include Rudolf Bennitt Conservation Area, Sugar Creek Lake, Thomas Hill Reservoir Conservation Area and Bee Hollow Conservation Area.
