Livestock Handling Expert to Make 10th Trip to WFS

A livestock handling expert will return by popular demand to the upcoming Western Farm Show in Kansas City. Texas AgriLife Extension Specialist Ron Gill will return to the show Saturday, February 22nd, for two presentations. Western Farm Show Manager Ken Dean says it’ll be Doctor Gill’s tenth trip to the show.
Presentations will take place at 10:30 and 2 p.m. at the Scott Pavilion. Dean says Gill’s approaches to livestock management are geared to increase profitability and minimize stress.
The livestock management sessions are included with the price of admission to the 59th Western Farm Show in Kansas City on February 22nd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show also takes place February 21st and 23rd.
