Linn County Experiencing Large Increase in COVID-19 Cases

The Linn County Health Department is reporting a drastic increase in COVID-19 cases over the past week. After reporting just 26 active cases of the virus on May 17th, the department is now reporting a total of 178 active cases of the virus. This includes 60 new cases reported today. This also means Linn County has more active cases now than at any other point in the pandemic. The Linn County Health Department is currently working to do case investigations for all positive cases at this time.
