Saturday will mark the 20th annual Macon County Cattlemen’s Youth Scholarship Banquet. This year’s event will be held at the Macon County Expo Center beginning at 6 pm. A limited number of tickets are still available for this event. Macon County Cattlemen’s Association member Joseph Lolli says tickets can be purchased through a couple of different avenues.

Over the past 19 years, the Macon County Cattlemen’s Youth Scholarship Banquet has raised over 242,750 dollars for their area youth scholarship. Lolli says the money has been used productively by these local students over the years.

The banquet features a prime rib dinner, a Texas Hold’em tournament, and both a silent and live auction. Lolli says there will be several different items up for bid during the auction.

In addition, there will be several raffles and drawings throughout the evening. The Macon County Cattlemen’s Youth Scholarship Banquet will get underway with the prime rib dinner at 6 pm. Along with prime rib, the meal features a potato dish and dessert.
