Like Route 3-Macon County 149 Project Accepting Bids

Route 3 in Randolph County isn’t the only local roadway that has been closed for a lengthy period of time. MoDOT Northeast Area Engineer, Emily Edgar, says Route 149 in Macon County was closed by flooding two years ago.
Edgar says the unexpected closure got MoDOT working on a different plan.
Edgar says the letting of bids is underway for both Routes 3 and 149.
Edgar is hoping that both road projects will be ready to go before the Highways and Transportation Commission by the September meeting.
