Lewis and Clark Provides Several Benefits for North Shelby

Following a probationary season, North Shelby will officially join the Lewis and Clark Conference in the 2024-25 school year. North Shelby has scheduled several L&C opponents in recent years while being an independent. Athletic Director Scott Gaines says the move to a conference eases the scheduling burden.

The recent switches to eight-man football by L&C members Schuyler County, Knox County and Paris will also ease travel for North Shelby on the gridiron. Gaines says student-athletes will have the added opportunity of receiving conference accolades.

North Shelby has been an independent since 2016, following the fall of the Tri-Rivers Conference.
