For more than two decades, area residents have been thrilled by the Latchford Christmas Light Display in Callao. Bruce Latchford is the mastermind of the display that takes up five acres. He estimates he spends an average of six hours a day working on the display once setup begins.

Many of the items are homemade and are constructed by the Latchford family and friends. Latchford details some of the items.

The Latchford Christmas Light Display is a walk-thru display. Latchford says there will be a cast of characters available for photo opportunities along the walk.

The Latchford Christmas Light Display is open nightly from 5:15 to 10 pm, weather permitting, through January First, on 2nd Street in Callao. Admission is free, but cash donations are encouraged.
