Community R-VI Superintendent Nick Larson will be enshrined into the William Jewell Athletics Hall of Fame this September for his accomplishments on the basketball court. Larson says the individual honor is a testament to his former teams.
Larson is one of two players in Jewell history to average a career double-double with 18.5 points and 10.6 rebounds. Larson says he was more about force than finnese on the floor.
Hall of famer Larry Holley coached at William Jewell for 40 seasons, and coached Larson during his playing career.
The induction ceremony will be September 28 at Yates-Gill College Union. You can find the full interview with Larson on our Magic City Sports Talk page.
