Large Crowd Attends Authentic Disney Event in Marceline

More than two weeks ago, Marceline welcomed a large crowd to town to recognize Walt Disney’s connection to the city with the “Celebrating a Moment in Time” event. City Manager Richard Hoon says the event required a lot of prep work.
The event celebrated 100 years of the Walt Disney Company. It included a variety of Disney related activities in Ripley Park and the commemoration of a special clock at the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. Hoon says it was well-received by visitors.
An estimated 15-hundred people attended “Celebrating a Moment in Time” in Marceline.
