Langley Named Peach Belt Tournament MVP, Georgia Southwestern Wins Tournament

Former Lady Greyhounds Coach Hana Haden’s Georgia Southwestern women’s basketball team won its second straight conference tournament title with a 57-52 win over Columbus State. Former Lady Hound Kayla Langley was named tournament MVP, leading all players with 20 points on 8-for-10 shooting, and grabbing 11 rebounds. Haden was named the conference’s coach of the year. Georgia Southwestern will be the fifth seed in the NCAA Division Two Southeast Regional and take on fourth-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne in the opening round Friday.
