Amber Klusmeyer takes over as head coach for the North Shelby softball program this season. Klusmeyer served as an assistant coach at Macon and Mexico, including two years of head coaching at Macon. She says the Lady Raiders have a competitive spirit.
North Shelby finished runner-ups in districts last season after an extra-inning defeat to Canton.
Klusmeyer says communication on the diamond will be a team focus.
The Lady Raiders open the season up at Knox County Aug. 29. Klusmeyer and other area coaches will be on our Softball Warm-Up Show Wednesday, August 23rd, from 5:35 until 10 pm, on KRES.
