Lady Hounds Return Five For Next Year

The Moberly Area Community College women’s basketball team has five players returning for next season. Bi’Anna Pettis and Jamila “Zama” Nansikombi are taking advantage of the additional year of eligibility issued by the NJCAA due to COVID-19 and will be considered sophomores. Pettis, a 5’6″ guard from Memphis, Tennessee, was the team’s MVP this past season. Nansikombi, a 5’10 guard from Kampala, Uganda redshirted last season after an ACL injury. The other three are Keiori Lee, a 5’1″ guard from Auburn Hills, Michigan, who saw action in every game as a freshmen; Angel Lee, a 5’9″ guard from Kansas City, Missouri; and Kaitlyn Simms, 6’1″ forward from St. Louis. Moberly was 18-6 and made the NJCAA National Tournament.
