Lady Hounds Advance to Region 16 Finals

Bryce Dowell’s 20 points off the bench helped the Lady Hounds erase an eight-point first quarter deficit and lead Moberly to an 83-70 win over Jefferson in the semifinals of the Region 16 Tournament.

Kaysie Newson and Shania Liburd each added 11 for Moberly. The Lady Hounds are now 27-4, and will play Three Rivers for the Region 16 Championship for the second straight season Saturday afternoon at 2. The Lady Raiders beat Mineral Area 89-68 in the other semifinal.
