Lady Hounds Add Transfer

Moberly Area Community College has announced the addition of Estrella “Star” Avalos to the women’s basketball roster for the upcoming season. Avalos, a 6’1″ forward is a transfer from McCook Community College in Nebraska. She will use the NJCAA’s extra year of eligibility and compete as a third-year sophomore. Last season, Avalos averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game, starting 23 of 24 games on a McCook team that went 15-9.
