La Plata Man Seriously Injured in Utility Vehicle Accident

A La Plata man was injured in a utility vehicle accident in Macon County. The accident occurred at 10:50 am on private property two miles southeast of La Plata. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2019 John Deere Side by Side driven by 18-year old Jason Gingerich was driving too fast for conditions, lost control, and overturned. Gingerich suffered serious injuries and was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment.
