La Plata Man Sentenced to Life in Prison

A La Plata man was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison without parole on a total of 16 counts of statutory sodomy and child molestation for crimes against three children between 2019 and 2022. 35-year-old Howard Kristopher Moots was convicted in October.
