La Belle Hosts 71st Straight Rodeo This Weekend

La Belle will have its 71st consecutive rodeo this weekend. After holding the 2020 event in August, La Belle Rodeo Association President Marty Davidson is glad the event is back on its traditional June weekend.
There will be a new event to complement the rodeo.
Queen contestants will be introduced before Saturday’s rodeo at 8pm. A parade will take place Saturday at 3pm, and there’s also a beer garden Saturday night featuring music from Chuck Briseno and Andrew Stratman. Davidson says there’s plenty of places where you can get your $12 advanced tickets.
Tickets are also available at the gate for $15. Outlaw 5J is the Rodeo promoter.
