KRES Will Air the Big K Replay And Cardinals Classic Games

Are you missing your local games? We are too. To fill in the gap, we are going to present the Big K Replay. Friday nights, starting next Friday, we are going to replay an exciting local broadcast we had this school year. We will begin with the highest scoring high school football game in the state of Missouri. You can hear the North Shelby vs. Pattonsburg 8-man game on Superstation KRES starting Friday night, March 27th, at 7:03, and then each Friday night in April. We are also planning to present a few exciting championship broadcasts from our coverage of Truman State and MACC Saturday afternoons in April starting at 1:00. We will keep you up-to-date on our encore presentations and you can also stay informed by checking our local sports broadcast schedule at

Also, with the start of the Major League Baseball season pushed farther back, we are going to bring you Cardinal Classic games. Thanks to the Cardinals Radio Network you can hear games from the St. Louis Cardinals’ 2011 World Series title winning season. Beginning Monday night, you can hear the Cards and Pittsburgh Pirates game from August 25th, 2011 starting at 6:15 on KRES. Games will be presented in sequential order through the end of the 2011 season right through game 7 of the World Series. You can hear most of those games on Superstation KRES, with some games shifted to 99.9 The Captain. For the first week, you will hear a four-game series between the Redbirds and the Pirates Monday through Thursday nights on KRES at 6:15. Then, it’s a three-game series with the Milwaukee Brewers Friday night on KIRK and weekend games on KRES Saturday, March 28th at 6:00 and Sunday, March 29th at 12noon.
