KRES All-Star Wooldridge Excited to Take Next Step in her Softball Career

Bryn Wooldridge has been named as a KRES All-Star for 2019-20. She joins fellow Salisbury Lady Panther Khloe Wyatt on this year’s team. Wooldridge provided heavy senior leadership by averaging 17 points per game on a Salisbury team that went 23-4 and finished in second in their district tournament. Wooldridge reflects on her senior basketball season.
While Wooldridge’s basketball career has come to an end, she will continue her softball career next year at Missouri S&T University in Rolla. Wooldridge explains what drew her to the Rolla based college.
Wooldridge will likely start her college softball career as either a first or third baseman for the Miners, with the likelihood of being worked into the pitching staff over time. Wooldridge, like many student-athletes, has had their routines turned upside down by the coronavirus pandemic. However, she says she’s used softball to help pass the time.
Wooldridge wrapped up her high school softball career this past fall by helping lead Salisbury to the Class 1 state title. She was the winning pitcher in their 4-1 victory over Canton in the championship game. You’ll be able to hear a replay of that game on our Big K Replay Friday at 7:03 pm on Superstation KRES and centralmoinfo.com
