The Knox County School Board has approved the school district’s academic calendar for the 2020-21 school year. Superintendent Andy Turgeon says a new state law forced a significant change to next year’s calendar.

The law, pushed by the Missouri Tourism industry, was signed by Missouri Governor Mike Parson back in July. Turgeon says the forced changes for schools is being met with mixed reviews.

The Knox County School Board’s next meeting is scheduled for March 17th.
