Knox County Names Lauren Dale New Softball Coach

Knox County High School has announced Lauren Dale as their new softball coach. Dale is a 2015 graduate of Knox County. She served as an assistant coach for the Lady Eagles this past season. Dale graduated from Truman State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She will complete her master’s degree in Elementary Education from Truman next month. During her softball career at Knox County, Dale was a two-time 1st team all-state selection. She was also a three-time all-conference selection.  At Truman, Dale served as team captain her senior season and was a Midwest Region selection once. Dale will take over a Lady Eagles squad that went 12-10 this past season.
