A Kirksville High School graduate is among a group of five in the Truman State cross country signing class announced Monday. Kate Wollmering made her first trip to the state meet as a senior. Wollmering ran 21:50.9 to finish 122nd at the class 3 championships. She is the daughter of Truman Director of Athletics Jerry Wollmering.

Wollmering is among four runners from Missouri in the class announced by Bulldog coach Tim Schwegler. Others are Anna Carter from St. Joseph Christian, Addie Mathis from Lee’s Summit West, and Abi Prince from Raymore-Peculiar High School. Rounding out the signing class is Lexy Henrikson from Williamsville, Illinois.
