The Kirksville City Council gave unanimous approval to a letter of support to the NEMO Regional Planning Commission Transportation Advisory Commission to push forward on the study. Young says they will influence MoDOT regarding the study.
No timeline has been given on when MoDOT will make a decision on conducting a safety study.
