Kirksville School District Moving Forward with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

When Bob Webb was hired as the new Kirksville School Superintendent earlier this year, one of his strengths was his experience with multi-tier systems of support (MTSS), which the Kirksville School District is looking to utilize. Webb explains what MTSS involves.
The Kirksville School Board initially met in July to begin planning ways to best implement MTSS. During last week’s meeting, the board identified five components to make MTSS strong. Webb says one involves bringing students and the Kirksville community together.
Webb says data is also a key component of MTSS.
Up to three more meetings are planned in early 2020.
