The Kirksville School Board met earlier this week on a meeting that focused on the Kirksville School District’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. The district refers to the plan as “Geared for Excellence.” Kirksville Superintendent Bob Webb says the plan is two-fold.

Part of the plan will involve working on collaborations with parents and students. The school board will spend much of the summer collecting academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and physical data within the community. Webb says some of this data is incomplete due to issues with standardized tests in Missouri.

Further discussions on the Kirksville School District’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan are planned for later this summer.
