During last week’s Kirksville School Board meeting, the board approved the purchase of the district’s FCC Internet License by Mark Twain Communications. Kirksville Superintendent Bob Webb explains what the license involves.

Mark Twain Communications has been making similar purchases throughout northeast Missouri.

The final cost of the sale is 75 thousand dollars. Webb says it is unclear exactly how the money received will be spent.

The board also approved the hiring recommendation of Jen Meyer as the district’s new Special Services Director. Meyer had spent the past eleven years as the Early Childhood Center Director.
