Kirksville Receives TAP Grant for Sidewalk Project

The City of Kirksville has finalized an agreement for a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant. Communications Director Austin Miller says the funds will be used for a large sidewalk project.
Miller explains how much the grant will cover.
The project is expected to cover over 15-hundred feet of sidewalk, running along the north side of West Washington Street from Main Street to Osteopathy Street, with sidewalk extending along Osteopathy parallel to the trailhead. A crosswalk will connect the sidewalk to the trailhead.
