Kirksville Girls Golf in Third After Day One at State Championships
The Kirksville girls golf team is in third place after the first round of the Class 2 State Championship after posting a team score of 398 Monday. Addison Davis paced Kirksville with a score of 84 and is in eighth place individually. Morgan Lunsford placed 48th on the first day with a score of 104. Mary McKiver and Anna Jenkins each shot a 105 to round out the scoring for Kirksville.
Lila Frazier and Lily Frazier, both of Southern Boone, highlight the area individual qualifiers performances from day one. Lila Frazier shot 85 to crack the top ten at ninth place after the first day. Lily Frazier is tied for 14th place with a score of 87.
Visitation Academy leads Class 2 after day one with a score of 333. The state tournament continues Tuesday from Columbia Country Club.
