Kirksville Accepted for Grant to Add New 911 Equipment

The community block grant is for just over 600 thousand dollars. Macomber says the first step in moving the project forward is bidding.
If Kirksville is allowed to use cooperative bidding, it will be able to work directly with the selected vendor to get and order the equipment. City officials hope to finish the project by the end of the year.
