Keytesville Woman Charged With 2nd Degree Murder

A Keytesville woman has been formally charged with second degree murder in the death of 38-year-old Jacob Abney of Grandview. He was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in Keytesville Thursday night. According to the State Highway Patrol Troop B, 52-year-old Sherri Lewis was also charged with armed criminal action, two counts of tampering with physical evidence and delivery of a controlled substance. 50-year-old James Johnson of Keytesville suffered gunshot wounds and was taken to Columbia. Lewis is currently being held in the Chariton County Jail without bond.
