Keytesville Man Sentenced to 72 Years in Prison for Sodomy and Molestation

A Keytesville man, 59-year old Edward Schrock, has been sentenced to 72 years in prison on multiple counts of sodomy, child molestation, and sexual misconduct. A Chariton County judge sentenced Schrock on Thursday for the sexual abuse of six children over the course of several years. Schrock pled guilty back in June to three counts of first-degree statutory sodomy of a child under the age of twelve, two counts of first-degree child molestation of a child under the age of 14, and one count of sexual misconduct involving a child. All six of the children were either his own family or family friends. The case was prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office and the Chariton County Prosecuting Attorney.
