The College Sports Information Directors of America announced that Columbia College’s Lexi Dickerson and Allison Keen were named to their 2020-21 CoSIDA Academic All-America NAIA Softball Team. Dickerson made the first team after going 18-2 with an ERA of 1.03. She finished ranked fifth in the NAIA in ERA and 10th in total runs allowed (25). She was named to the second team last season.
Keen, from Cairo, gets her first selection. She was named to the second team after hitting .434 on the season with eight doubles, three home runs, and 37 RBIs. She ranked 18th nationally in RBIs per game (1.0).
Piper is making the first team for the second time. This season, he hit .418, with 17 home runs and 49 RBIs. He finished in the top-10 nationally in three categories – No. 5 in slugging percentage (.915), No. 7 in chances per game (8.5), and No. 9 in total bases per game (3.1).
