Karl Asbury Discusses His Decision to Step Down As Mark Twain Football Coach

Moberly native Karl Asbury stepped down as head football coach at Mark Twain last month. Asbury says the leading reason is to spend more time with family.

Asbury believes he went out on a positive note.

Mark Twain graduate Austin Leake was named as the new head coach and will have plenty of experience on next year’s team.

Asbury remains the head baseball coach and has not shut down the possibility of another head coaching football job in the future.
