The final night of Grandstand concerts at the 120th Missouri State Fair will feature a pair of country artists from south of the state line, including a country music superstar with nine number-one hits.  Fair officials announced Tuesday morning that Justin Moore will perform the evening of August 20th at the Grandstand presented by CFM Insurance.  Moore first reached the top of the charts in 2009 with “Small Town USA”, then followed it up two years later with “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away” and “Til My Last Day”.

Opening for Moore that evening is a fellow native of Arkansas, rising star Heath Sanders.  Sanders ventured into music after working for a decade in natural gas fields, and in 2021 was named one of Pandora’s “Country Artists To Watch”.  His debut album Common Ground includes the tracks “Old School’s In” and “Can’t Undo I Do”.

Two more Missouri State Fair Grandstand concerts, set for August 18th and 19th, have yet to be announced.  Tickets for all events at the Grandstand will go on sale the morning of June 28th through Etix.
