Joiner-911 Central Dispatching Needs Professionals

One thing all sides of the Randolph County 911 discussion can agree on is making dispatching the most efficient it can be. Randolph County Ambulance District Superintendent Clay Joiner explains calls within the Moberly city limits may reach other emergency personnel first.

Joiner says it takes a specific skillset to be a good dispatcher and there’s a cost to hire and keep them.

The Moberly City Council last month presented what a 911 central dispatch agreement should look like including funding sources to support it.
