Janice Lynn Mannahan
Janice Lynn Mannahan, age 67, of Louisiana, passed away at home surrounded by her family, on December 31, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes & Crematory in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. The burial will be held in Green Lawn Cemetery in Bowling Green.
Janice was born June 15, 1957, in Louisiana, MO, the daughter of James Merlin Singleton and Lena Mae Evans Singleton. Janice grew up in Bowling Green, MO. On August 17, 1974, at St. Clement Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Mannahan. He survives. Together, they have two children: daughter Gina (Will) Holland of Louisiana, and a son Derrick (Anna) Mannahan of Bowling Green.
Other survivors include 9 grandchildren Brandon (Tosha) Holland, Breanna (Clayton) Holland, Madison Mannahan, Hunter Tolbert, Jackson Mannahan, Brealyn Mannahan, and Braxton Mannahan; two step-grandchildren Will (Coral) Tolbert and Cheyanne Tolbert; great grandchildren Cannon and Lena Mae Welch, Channing Jensen, Christian Ingram and Julian Tolbert. She is also survived by her father Merlin Singleton; sister Tammy (Scott) Hobbs of Curryville; lots of brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, and grandparents; brother Michael James Singleton who died at birth.
For 30+ years she babysat in her home for children in the area that lovingly referred to her as Mama Hannaman, followed by spending time as a housekeeper at Maple Grove. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was happiest when everyone was together. She never met a stranger, and was a kind soul to everyone she met. In her spare time, Janice enjoyed shopping, cooking and spending time in Branson and Panama City Beach, FL.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Hobbs, Hunter Tolbert, Brandon Holland, Jackson Mannahan, Will F. Tolbert, Will Tolbert, and Clayton Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Madison Mannahan, Breanna Holland, Brealyn Mannahan, Braxton Mannahan, Cheyanne Tolbert, Christian Ingram, and Channing Jenson.
Memorials may be made to pancreatic research.
