Infrastructure Grants Available For Rural Counties

Rapid inflation is also driving up the cost of needed infrastructure projects across Rural America.  The Soy Transportation Coalition is highlighting a study they released last year detailing innovations that can reduce the cost of repairing and replacing bridges.  Executive Director Mike Steenhoek says they’re encouraging counties to consider these ideas.

Counties in Missouri and eight other states may receive up to $10,000 through the grant.  Steenhoek says the coalition is regularly meeting with local leaders to discuss these and other innovations.
