Indiana Farmers Star In Discovery Channel Series

A pair of Indiana families are showcasing life on the farm with the help of a major cable network.  Live To Farm profiles the day-to-day operation of farms owned by the family of Kevin Kalb and his friend Brooks Cardinal.  Kalb tells Regional Radio that the two began their journey to TV stardom over a drink.

Kalb says the two visited with a friend with connections to the industry, and received the green light after lining up several sponsors including AGI.  He adds that even with cameras following him and his family around, they’ve not had to make significant changes to their operation.

Kalb says he and Cardinal hope to not only showcase agriculture and farm families, but also encourage others to enter the industry.  He has this piece of advice for potential farmers.

The first season of Live To Farm debuted last fall on the Discovery Channel and RFD-TV.
