Howard County Fair Runs Through This Week

The 2021 Howard County Fair gets underway Monday and runs all the way to Sunday in Fayette. This year’s fair offers something for all ages. Howard County Fair Board member Chris Rohlfing says Tuesday’s Prince and Princess, and Queen Contests will draw a large crowd.

The winner of the Queen Contest will advance to the Missouri State Fair later this summer. This year’s Howard County Fair will have a carnival that will be open Thursday through Saturday. Rohlfing says this carnival will appeal to all children.

One of the final events at this year’s fair will be the Howard County Open Talent Show and Missouri State Fair Homegrown Singer Contest Preliminary. The talent show will take place Saturday at 6pm. Rohlfing says the show is open to all age groups.
